Oxyor’s focus is to develop and use learning tools ranging from audio-visual materials to simulations. By using these new and state-of-the-art learning methods we offer both student as well as educators a new way of combining innovative educational techniques with interaction with your tutor and fellow participants from around the world.

It is our ambition to offer a challenging yet rewarding experience. Our flexible approach offers a range of study options, from studying with regular classroom meetings with local support, to studying by distance learning, so participants can combine work with study.

Our learning methods offer an in-depth knowledge of any chosen subject. It also supports you in becoming an independent thinker, developing analytical skills and helping to improve your organisational skills.

 

 

Participants in our courses have the opportunity to study using a combination of materials and online learning resources designed to foster active learning. The materials are theirs to keep, refer to and write notes on as the courses progress. All materials are provided online.

All educational materials developed by Oxyor are streamed online and therefore no downloading of software is necessary. All you need to start is a computer with Internet Access. Compatible browsers are Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari and FireFox.


Build trust for professional learning

Trust is integral to educator learning and student success. From teachers to policymakers, understanding how trust contributes to professional learning and how to build it is critical at all levels. This is especially important during times of major changes, such as when systems are implementing college- and career-ready standards or educator evaluation policies.

To be effective, educators must openly share responsibilities and challenges, hold each other accountable, give and receive feedback, share new ideas, and take risks. Participants must share their weaknesses and place themselves in vulnerable positions in order to grow. Trust makes such vulnerability possible.

1. Trust: at every level is an essential component of an environment that accelerates individual and organizational growth.

2. Trust creates the safe spaces needed for growth. Growth requires that learners be open and vulnerable. This can only happen when participants are free from the fear and uncertainty of not knowing what will happen with the information they provide.

3. Trust is cyclical. As trust grows, it fosters deeper learning, and that deeper learning then builds more trust, reinforcing a cyclical process that sustains a healthy environment for continuous growth.
